Attractiveness Study
Welcome to the Attractiveness Study website. This study is designed to determine what different people find attractive in other people's faces. It is being carried out as part of my MPhil dissertation in Biological Anthropology, which I am studying at the Leverhulme Centre for Human Evolutionary Studies (LCHES), at the University of Cambridge. With this study, I hope to make an empirical assessment of some of the theories that have been proposed to explain why different people find some features more attractive than others. I will also be investigating why different people find different features attractive. The study involves a short questionnaire, followed by rating some pictures, much like the many other picture rating sites out there on the internet. The whole thing will only take a few minutes, and you'll be helping me with my research, so you can feel like you've done a good deed for the day too.
